The Company

Avon Search are proud to be recruiting Residential Children's Support Workers in Sway, Hampshire, on behalf of a great care provider who operate specialist children's homes close to the South Coast.

The company is not your traditional provider of Children's services. Their homes provide 1:1 care to a maximum of 2 children at a time.

The Role

The client is currently looking for Residential Children's Support workers to add to their established but close nit team.

The main duties include but are not limited to:

- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children in your care.

- Working closely with the wider team including management and therapists.

- Promoting positive outcomes for children and encouraging happiness and play.

- Provide a positive role model for the young people, presenting yourself in a highly professional manner.

- Ensuring that the home environment is kept to a high standard.

Desired Qualifications

  • Over 21 years old
  • Full driving licence and own vehicle
  • Diploma in Residential Child Care is preferred but NOT essential.
  • No previous experience required but a desire to learn is essential
