Role Overview

The Corporate Business Development Manager will be a dynamic results driven New Business Developer forming part of a growing team. The core responsibility will be one of identifying and securing new business opportunities with recruitment companies. Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with clients.

Thinking strategically about the client base, proactively developing and maintainingrelationships with senior stakeholders, and ensuring client satisfaction and success. By understanding clients' needs and goals, the CBDM will provide tailored solutions and insights, driving long-term partnerships and fostering client loyalty. An excellent communicator and a proven track record in business development will be prerequisites for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client acquisition, retention, experience, and new business development.
  • Act as a client leader across a portfolio of clients with complex requirements.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan.
  • Enhance marketing strategies to meet business goals.
  • Identify and capitalise on business development opportunities.
  • Increase client satisfaction, retention, and referrals.
  • Build and strengthen existing client relationships.
  • Support client leads and track outcomes.
  • Utilise the CRM effectively.
  • Conduct business development calls for new leads.
  • Manage the prospect pipeline.
  • Plan and attend client events and entertainment.
  • Participate in planning and review meetings.
  • Build and maintain a professional network through relevant events.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPI’s.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Extensive experience in engaging with corporate clients to understand their strategic goals, operational challenges, and business needs.
  • Skilled in conducting in-depth analyses of client situations to accurately identify underlying problems and opportunities for growth.
  • Proactively anticipates client needs by staying informed about industry trends and potential disruptions, enabling the formulation of proactive strategies that align with client goals.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, guiding them in understanding client needs and delivering solutions that drive client satisfaction and retention.
  • Proven ability to nurture long-term relationships with key corporate clients, acting as a trusted and strategic partner.
  • Consistently identifies opportunities for expanding client engagements by understanding their evolving needs and proposing value-added services or solutions.
  • Maintains a focus on client satisfaction and loyalty, utilising feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the client experience and foster repeat business.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
