We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a thriving primary school in the Warrington (WA13) area. This full-time Teaching Assistant position starts after February half term and involves providing tailored support to a Year 3 pupil who requires additional assistance with their learning and social development.
Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:
- Provide one-to-one support for a Year 3 pupil, helping them engage in lessons and access the curriculum.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to implement learning strategies.
- Encourage the child's independence and build their confidence within the classroom.
- Support social development and communication skills through structured activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEND pupils, is desirable.
- A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to working with children.
- Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A commitment to supporting children's learning and well-being.
