Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000

Location: Lymm, Warrington

Shift: Monday to Friday - Day Shift

Are you a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a passion for keeping systems running smoothly? This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in minimising downtime and ensuring the seamless operation of site-wide electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Respond to breakdowns and perform planned maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, including site facilities.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, with the ability to fault-find on PLC systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the Engineering Manager to prioritise workloads and resource allocation.
  • Conduct statutory checks, log completed work, and provide resolutions for ongoing issues.
  • Maintain and inspect site facilities while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Supervise contractors, control permits, and ensure all work adheres to safety standards.
  • Proactively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and develop operational practices for machine efficiency.

Skills required for Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • A recognised electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ, HNC, or equivalent).
  • Strong fault-finding experience with PLC systems.
  • Expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvements.
  • Previous Experience in a high speed manufacturing plant
