- Preparing, submitting, and tracking tender documents, budgets, and bills of quantities
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Provide detailed cost/budget analysis on a development by development and cost item basis relative to the build programme
- Managing project accounts, monitoring progress, and reporting on any cost overruns and or potential risks
- Ensuring compliance with contractual and statutory requirements
- Attending site visits, conducting on-site surveys, and identifying any potential risks or opportunities
- Conducting site meetings and liaising with site teams to ensure that projects run smoothly
- Qualified Quantity Surveyor or equivalent construction qualification
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying (Essential)
- Experience in new build housing projects (Essential)
- A good understanding of the financial implications of the methods and sequences of build
- Good Finance/Commercial awareness and technical knowledge
- Good knowledge of the Construction Industry
