You will be tasked with managing financial aspects throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring cost-effective solutions while delivering high standards of quality. Your expertise will help in driving the projects towards successful completion, and you will play a key role in maintaining client relationships and overseeing project budgets.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks within projects.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and clients.
- Prepare and negotiate tender documents and contracts.
- Perform regular cost analysis and monitoring to ensure compliance with financial plans.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and costs in relation to budgets.
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the Housing sector.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant degree and professional qualifications (e.g., RICS status preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
