Head Pastry Chef Stunning High-End Restaurant Operation (Live Out)
Location: New Forest, Hampshire
Salary: £38,000-41,250 + £2,000-3,000 + Benefits
Hours: 48 Hours (12pm-10pm)
** In order to be considered, you must have solid high-end pastry experience at Head Pastry Chef level. Due to public transport restrictions, commuters must driver and have their own car/transport. There is no live-in available for this role and therefore, any relocators must source their own accommodation **
Our client, a stunning high end premium restaurant operation, is looking for a passionate Head Pastry Chef with strong quality fresh food experience to assist in the running of their popular operation based in the New Forest area of Hampshire. With their impressive offerings showcasing their collection of mouth-watering dishes created from fresh locally sourced seasonal produce, this operation offers a true taste of Hampshire from field to fork. Working with the Head Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation, cooking and plating of stunning desserts, cakes and pastries. In terms of pastry, the main focus will be on desserts for their restaurant service, afternoon teas and the occasional private dinner bookings. Working within this brigade you will form part of the senior kitchen team working alongside other Head Chefs whilst reporting to the Executive Head Chef. As well as having strong relevant experience, the most important thing is that you must have a passion for your trade, the drive to succeed and the want to learn and develop your skills! You will:
- Already have strong experience as leading a pastry section in a high-end premium restaurant or hotel operation
- Have a strong passion for all things pastry, a love for innovation and an eye for detail.
- Be willing to both develop your team and collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure all pastry items are of the highest standard.
- Be responsible for the pastry section, ensuring all health and hygiene regulations are maintained.
- Have a great understanding of allergens. Be a good listener and motivator with a can-do attitude.
- Be a great communicator and happy to lead and work as part of a team.
- Have a great personality - fun, passionate, charismatic, enthusiastic, and adaptable to all personalities.
