About the Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Deputy Manager to join our team, providing overnight care for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and autism. Your role will involve ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the young people throughout the day while maintaining a calm and secure environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to any needs or issues that arise overnight.
  • Managing challenging behaviours if required.
  • Keeping accurate logs and records during the shift.
  • Adhering to organisational policies and procedures.

About You:

We are looking for candidates with at least 6 months to 1 year of experience as a senior working with children/young people. Experience with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs is preferred. You should be dependable, patient, and able to manage situations calmly and independently.

Essential Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Senior Residential Support Worker.
  • Willingness to complete a Level 5 Diploma if not already achieved.
  • Compliant with pre-employment checks, including enhanced DBS, satisfactory references, and proof of right to work.
  • Full UK driving license.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm (flexibility is still required)
