SEN Teaching Assistant - LyndhurstAcademics are recruiting on behalf of a lovely Independent SEN school in the New Forest which caters for young people with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC) and associated complex needs, from the ages of 5 - 19 years. They currently have 34 pupils on roll.

They have a need for a number of experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team on a full-time, term-time contract, starting ASAP/after Easter.

Ideally they are looking for SEN Teaching Assistant's with experience of working in an SEN school, or with pupils with SEN, mainly autism so you are able to hit the ground running. They need experienced Teaching Assistant's who are confident in working in small groups and on a 1:1 basis who are able to think on their feet, be empathetic and love working in an alternative education setting.

They provide a warm and welcoming yet structured environment, which encourages children and young people to develop the social, educational and practical skills they require to enjoy and achieve.
