Occupational Therapist

Independent Specialist School - located In Lytham St Annes

Full time temporary contract initially until Feb, with a view to extend on a long term basis.

ASAP Start (realistically January)

£35 - £40p/h

Our private client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to support their Independent School in Lytham St Annes for a temporary contract initially.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of students' gross and fine motor skills.
  • Evaluate proprioceptive functioning to identify sensory processing issues.
  • Prepare reports for multi-disciplinary team meetings or Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) reviews.
  • Recommend adaptations to the classroom or school environment to support sensory and motor needs.

Requirements:

  • Have a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
  • Experience supporting children with gross and fine motor difficulties, and problems with proprioception.
