Art & Design Teacher

Vision for Education are recruiting for an outstanding Art & Design Teacher for a secondary school based near Blackpool, starting February 2025.

The role

This role will start February 2025 and be on going with no set end date..

The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching Art & Design at KS3 and KS4 level. There may also be the opportunity to teach some graphics and textiles classes but experience in this area itsn’t essential as support and resources would be provided. 

This will be a full time role, and may have some requirement to pick up some DT classes within textiles. Experience in this area isn’t essential as support and resources will be provided.

This school In Blackpool is graded as ‘Good’ by OFSTED and praised for excellent levels of teaching as well as good behaviour within the school. The successful Art & Design Teacher will work in a supportive and friendly department and wider school environment. The school is forward thinking and benefits from a proactive Senior Leadership team.

Requirements

To be considered for the Art & Design Teacher role you must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Be adaptable and flexible
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
