About the Role:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school team in Lytham (immediate start). In this role, you will deliver high-quality lessons, inspire students to engage with English, and support their academic development. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering a love for the subject, while providing a strong foundation for students of all abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
  • Support students in their preparation for GCSE exams, providing additional resources and guidance where needed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and improve the Maths curriculum.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Science at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 & 4).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt lessons for students with varying abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a commitment to student success.
