Are you a passionate and dedicated English teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds? We are seeking a talented English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school, covering Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS3 and KS4), on a long-term sickness cover basis.As the English Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work to ensure students are progressing and achieving their full potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels supported.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and the school leadership team to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential for this role.
  • Proven experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
  • A passion for literature and language, with the ability to inspire students to develop their skills and love for English.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
