Position: Joinery Supervisor
Location: Lancaster 
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily joinery operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient production.

• Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and installation of wooden structures, fittings, and furniture.

• Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure precision and quality.

• Monitor quality control and ensure all products meet company and client standards.

• Train, mentor, and manage joinery staff, ensuring skill development and adherence to best practices.

• Liaise with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution of projects.

• Maintain inventory and oversee the procurement of materials and tools.

• Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

• Troubleshoot issues, providing technical solutions and process improvements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Joinery Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the woodworking/joinery industry.

• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a workshop environment.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Certification or diploma in carpentry, joinery, or a related field.

• CSCS 

• SSMST OR SSSTS
