My client are a global leading tier 1 construction group delivering major projects across a multitude of sectors including commercial, residential, retail, industrial, medical, and leisure.

They have a requirement for a Lead Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a 35m Ministry of Justice scheme in Lancashire. Experience of working on similar projects is desirable.

As the Lead Senior Quantity Surveyor, your role will include:

  • Take the lead in all financial matters related to construction projects
  • Manage cost estimates, budgets, and procurement processes
  • Conduct thorough cost analysis, identifying potential areas for cost-saving measures
  • Prepare and evaluate subcontractor agreements
  • Collaborate with the project team to monitor and control project expenses
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Mentor and support junior members of the quantity surveying team

Requirements:

  • Experience of working for a main contractor on similar-sized projects
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
