Simply Education is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher for a maternity cover position at one of our partner schools located on the outskirts of Mablethorpe.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position starting in January 2025 for 4 months. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for planning, teaching, and assessment within an EYFS setting. You will have complete ownership of planning and marking responsibilities, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained throughout your tenure.
Key Responsibilities:
Full planning and preparation of lessons in line with the EYFS framework
Complete responsibility for marking and assessment
Create and maintain detailed learning journals for each child
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that follow the EYFS curriculum
Create a stimulating classroom environment that supports children's learning and development
Observe and record children's progress
Work in partnership with parents to support children's learning and development
Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
Contribute to the wider school community during your placement
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in EYFS
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
Excellent planning and organizational skills
Strong assessment and marking experience
Confident in maintaining detailed records and learning journals
Enhanced DBS check (we can support with this)
