RG Consultancy are proud to be working with a very well established retail business in Macclesfield who are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. You will join a small finance team and support in leading the transnational team. This is a fantastic opportunity and a great time to join the business through a period of improvement. The Role
- Preparation of management accounts
- Support with balance sheet reconciliations
- Accruals and prepayments
- Assist with the preparations of board packs
- Supporting with year end and audit preparations
- Supporting the finance department with live projects (new system changes)
The Person
- Working towards CIMA/ACCA
- Experience with working in a managerial position in accounts/finance
- Good level of experience in a similar role and to be confident in own role to be able to manage a small transnational team
- Commercially focused to be able to support higher management where needed
- Technically strong, strong IT skills and excellent Excel skills
