Description
The Trainee Accounts Payable Assistant role is initially a 12 month contract and will be based 3 days per week in Macclesfield office (Hybrid working). Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager Key duties will include:
- Ensure all centrally processed supplier invoices are recorded in the accounting system correctly and processed on a timely basis
- Ensure the supplier invoices processed are reconciled to the supplier statement on a
- monthly basis providing analysis/escalation where applicable
- Support the payments to suppliers in line with contractually agreed payment terms,
- once invoices have been approved and processed
- Assist in ad hoc tasks as required by the business
Profile
In order to apply for the role you should:
- Have some previous accounts experience or be an AAT Studier/Accounts or Finance Graduate
- Have experience of using Excel
- Be available to consider a 12 month contract initially
- Be able to commute to Macclesfield office
