Job Title: AV Installation Engineer
Location: Macclesfield (with overseas travel)Salary: £30K - £35KWorking Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30
About the Role:As an AV Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of AV systems on superyachts and high-end residential projects. This role involves significant travel overseas, with plenty of opportunity for travel to locations such as Turkey, Italy, Spain, and the South of France.
Key Responsibilities:- Installing and integrating AV systems, including screens, TVs, speakers, networks, and home cinema systems.
- Marine-specific AV installation work, including working away from home for extended periods.
- Rack building and system testing in the UK warehouse.
- Attending service calls for residential properties within the North West, where required.
- Termination of various cables.
- Working with systems such as Crestron, RTI, Wyrestorm, and Lutron on an installation level.
- Reading and interpreting schematic drawings for installation.
- Experience in either AV installations OR electrical installations (Ideally within a residential environment).
- Ability to terminate various cables.
- Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally for extended periods.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong networking knowledge.
- Lutron programming experience.
- Electrical certifications or strong electrical knowledge.
- Salary: £30K - £35K (depending on experience).
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
