The Role:
As our client's Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding their market presence and driving sales growth across the UK and overseas. Working in a hybrid capacity (3 days in the office, 2 from home), you'll balance your time between managing warm leads and driving cold outreach, as well as building strong, lasting relationships with their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Manage and grow existing accounts while prospecting new clients through both warm and cold approaches.
Client Interaction: Meet with customers to discuss their needs and introduce our client's range of nutraceutical raw materials.
Travel & Networking: Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and events in the UK and abroad to build a strong industry presence.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to create tailored solutions for their clients.
Market Research: Stay ahead of industry trends and ensure they remain competitive in a fast-paced sector.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in Business Development within the Nutraceuticals sector.
Strong knowledge of raw materials used in Food, Sports Nutrition, Healthcare, and Animal Health industries.
Ability to manage both warm leads and conduct cold outreach with a proactive approach.
Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally for client meetings, exhibitions, and events.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Hybrid work model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
