We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursery Welfare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the welfare and development of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. This role involves working closely with nursery staff to create a positive and inclusive environment for all children.

The Role:

  • Attend to the personal, social, emotional and physical needs of pupils, including washing, toileting etc as required.
  • Under supervision of the teacher or other staff, assist individual or groups of children in the nursery and ensure their safety and well being.
  • To support children with their learning activities.

  • Relay relevant information to the class teacher to support the updating of childrenā€™s records/progress.

  • Display and present the childrenā€™s work, under the direction of the nursery teacher, so that it enhances the classroom environment and celebrates achievement.

The requirements:

  • Previous experience within a nursery or early years setting is essential.
  • Ability to reliably to commute to Macclesfield, SK11.
  • Willing to undertake a DBS check
  • someone who is willing to undertake the more involved tasks to ensure the well-being of all children.
