We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to support the Engineering Manager in overseeing operations and maximising equipment availability. This role involves leading a team of engineers, managing safety processes, coordinating maintenance plans, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities for the Engineering Supervisor:
- Assist in managing safety, audits, and workload scheduling.
- Supervise contractors and oversee permit-to-work systems.
- Lead and develop the engineering team to meet KPIs.
- Plan and manage maintenance activities, including shutdowns.
- Use maintenance systems to monitor and address machine downtime.
- Support fault finding, repairs, and project installations.
Requirements for the Engineering Supervisor:
- Supervisory / Team Leader / Senior Engineer experience essential
- Multi Skilled - up to 70/30 either way but preference to mechanical
- Apprentice trained - Minimum NVQ Level 3 Engineering qualification
- Experience working as an Engineering Supervisor within a manufacturing background
