Lead Electrical Engineer

Brownlee Cale are recruiting for a permanent Lead Electrical Engineer for our client who operates in the MEICA sector. It is a hybrid position based in Macclesfield.

This role will initially be part-time ( 8 - 16 hours per week), alongside assisting in delivering other electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with project audits
• Coordinate and collaborate with E&I and Electrical Design team
• Assist Team Framework Manager with design schedules and drawing/ documentation reviews, scope of works
• Project tendering
• Mentor junior members of the electrical team
• Lead Electrical Design team

Requirements:

• Chartered Engineer (or in process)
• Previous Lead Engineer experience
• Good knowledge of building services and E&I design
• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineer or similar (preferred)
• Knowledge of building regulations, BS7671, BS5839 and BS EN 60079 and CDM regulations 2015
• Compex qualifications (preferred)
• Working knowledge of industrial HV and LV distribution systems
• Experience with digital engineering tools/ technologies
