Microbiologist – Environmental Shift Monitoring Scientist This is a permanent opportunity paying negotiable salary with added benefits. Kenton Black is a recruitment partner to a pharmaceutical testing laboratory based in Macclesfield Responsibilities:Responsible for microbiological testing and validationConduct environmental monitoringReview and reconcile all environmental monitoring samples at the end of the production run to ensure all samples.Responsible for technical review of documentsProvide updates to clients and keep in touch with external clientsResponsible for performing environmental monitoring,  media preparation and culturing microorganismsPerform microbiology testing such as, Bioburden testing,  sterility testing and bacterial endotoxin testing,  Concentration, and ConductivityResponsible for verification of laboratory data and review data Working according to GMP/cGMP guidelines Qualifications:Degree or equivalent in Microbiology or relatedPrevious experience in working with pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical testing laboratory (Microbiology testing laboratory)Previous experience in conducting environmental monitoring Experience working within a fast-paced, commercial analytical testing laboratoryExperience in microbial validation Experience in working according to GMP guidelines Excellent communication and written skillsNote:  This is a shift microbiologist role.  The working hours can be 6.00AM-5.00PM or 7.00-6.00PM on two week 11 hour shift rota.  If you are interested in this role, please apply now!''
