The Commercial Finance Analyst will support the Supply Chain Operation in the delivery of key deadlines. The Commercial Finance Analyst will be responsible for providing detailed analysis of data to enable business decisions and deliver key objectives, as well ensuring that key controls are adhered to. Key Responsibilities Month end preparation – work with key stakeholders to ensure accurate cost detail / cost tracking and accruals are captured.Maintain relevant accrual and cost tracking documents Liaise with supply chain team on all forecast / budget processesSupport Finance Lead to deliver accurate financial reporting, including detailed variance analysisWork closely with the Logistics team to review costsProactively look for improvement opportunities in logistics accounting and control processesSupport the Supply Chain Accountants and Finance Lead to embed standardisation and consistent ways of workingSupport on external and internal audit processes as required relating to Supply Chain Finance Carry out ad hoc projects as required Any other reasonable duties as may be required Essential Criteria Experience of working in Supply Chain/Logistics finance preferred not essential Continuous improvement mindset in processes and ways of workingGood analytical abilityAble to build relationships across all levels of the organisation Good communication and interpersonal skills at all levelsAbility to travel across the group Part-qualified working or working towards a recognized Accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
