An excellent opportunity has become available with a business in Macclesfield which we are delighted to represent on an exclusive basis.The role is for a Finance Analyst on a 12 month fixed term contract basis with hybrid working, requiring 1 day per week in the office.Responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Preparation and full analysis of monthly management information, providing commentary of KPIs & ad hoc reporting for Head of Client Finance.
  • Regular review & analysis of aligned financial performance.
  • Monthly meetings with teams to review project financial performance
  • Provide monthly standardised KPI reports.
  • Create ad hoc reporting to aid financial monitoring and insights into financial performance.
  • Regular review of projects to ensure in line with guidelines.
  • Provide regular updates to Head of Finance on performance and any other issues that arise.
  • Review of aligned entities month-end tracking sheet including calculation of the monthly revenue accrual, shared revenue, deferred revenue & WIP.
  • Review and sign off of revenue journals.
  • Review of rebates ensuring all are accurately calculated and paid in line within requirements.
  • Review of revenue to group reporting systems
  • Review and sign off of Group Variance Analysis
As the successful candidate you will have:
  • Strong Financial acumen with numeracy/accounting skills
  • Competent in the use of Excel
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal/external staff
  • Excellent time management to meet deadlines
  • AAT/Part CIMA qualified
