RotheramCarrington Financial Recruitment are pleased to be handling the recruitment of an SME Finance Manager job working for a growing professional services company based in Macclesfield area, offering hybrid working. This business supports Clients across the UK & Ireland, with growth plans to open an office in Switzerland and grow the business to circa £10m turnover in the next 5 years.
- Reporting to the Managing Director this role will be responsible for all aspects of finance for an SME company
- Supervise a team of 5 staff members and develop and build good relationships across the business network
- (AAT studiers)
- Prepare Year End submissions for Clients
- Oversee accounts preparation
- Production of the periodic management accounts for various Clients
- Supporting with year end accounts and budgets
- Maintaining Nominal Ledgers
- Cash Flow Management
- Accounts preparation and Tax Returns for self employed contractors
- Liaising with HMRC for registration of new clients
- Payroll
- Limited Company accounts and Corporation Tax for small business clients
- Deputising for the Owner/Director
- VAT returns
- Ad hoc project work, as and when required by owner, focusing on continuous improvement initiatives
Skills/Experience
- AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified or Qualified by Experience
- Background within an SME business
- Proven experience running all aspects of finance for a small Company
- Experience having worked in an accountancy practice or professional services company would be advantageous
- Strong Excel & analytical skills
What's on Offer
- £45,000 to £50,000 per annum (possibly higher dependent on experience)
- Hybrid working (on-site during training/probation)
- Open to flexible hours but because this role is managing a team 3 days on site preferred
