Job Title: FLT Driver/Production Operative
Location: Macclesfield
Remuneration: £12.29ph
Contract Details: Temporary role until Feb 2025 with the potential to go permanent dependant on business needs.
Monday to Thursday: 8am - 4pm, Friday 8am - 3pm
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift trucks to move materials and products in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Carry out basic maintenance checks on the forklift trucks and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Assist in general production duties as required, including but not limited to assembling products, operating machinery, and packing finished goods.
- Follow instructions accurately and complete tasks within specified deadlines.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily targets and ensure smooth operations.
Skills and Experience:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
