Fee Earner – Housing DisrepairLocation: MacclesfieldFull Time and hybrid option availableSalary: £DOEACS have teamed up with a successful Macclesfield based firm, with the recruitment of a fee earner within their housing disrepair team! The successful candidate will ideally have the following knowledge and experience –
  • Ability to manage a caseload of Housing Disrepair claims
  • Legal Knowledge of the Housing Conditions pre-action protocol
  • Legal knowledge of the CPR and fast-track litigation process
  • Review reports from Surveyors
  • Carry out quantum assessments/reviews and formalising case plans
  • Ability to run issued, fast track matters with minimal supervision.
  • To effectively act upon court directions and to prepare matters for trial
  • Experience of using Proclaim case management system
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, target driven environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Organisation and admin skills
  • Communication skills:  written and verbal
  • Ability to work individually or part as a team
