My client, a market leading, UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate GIS Consultant to join their friendly and supportive team based near Macclesfield.

Applicants are required to have a BSc and MSc or PhD in Geographic Information Systems and have experience using ArcGIS or QGIS for mapping.

Candidates are required to reside locally or be prepared to relocate within commutable distance of the office and have a valid driving licence to attend site visits, when required.

As a Graduate GIS Consultant, you will have the opportunity to complete varied projects spanning flood risk, water supply, water resources and ecological projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies, Private Sector Clients and Housing Developers across the UK. You will be trained by an experienced team to complete detailed maps using ArcGIS and QGIS.

You will also complete;

-Data manipulation.

-Analyse satellite imagery of terrain maps, flood risk and ecological data.

-Spectral imagery analysis for geospatial proximity analysis, water resources management and land use characterisation.
