We are looking for a Care Assistant to join our clients existing care team to support a young university student based in Macclesfield.

Job Title: Personal Care Assistant

Location: Macclesfield (SK10)

Hours: 8am - 4pm on Saturday OR Sunday (Flexibility required)

1 x Live in shift between Monday and Sunday

Rate of pay: £220 for live in shift and £16 for any additional hours = £348 per week minimum.

Role information:

Key skills, previous care experience, you will ideally hold a Health & Social Care Qualification, Full UK driving licence, an excellent communicator, motivated and organised. Have a genuine interest in promoting quality Care.

Location:

Based Macclesfield, SK10, our client is a young university student, he attends Manchester University 2 days per week. He lives in his own fully adapted annexed accommodation in Macclesfield, Cheshire. Passionate about his subject, modern history and politics. A full-time wheelchair user, our client requires assistance with all aspects of daily living.

Purpose of the Job:

To deliver high quality professional care whilst supporting the individual in all aspects of his daily routine. Meal prep, shopping and light domestic duties to look after the accommodation, socialising, arranging day trips, stock control, personal care, safe guarding, driving are all duties within this role.

About You

Must be trustworthy, and reliable, have a sense of fun and be of smart appearance.

You will be energetic, proactive with a 'can do’ attitude, motivated to do the best for our client at all times, a team player with a good sense of humour and excellent conversational skills.

Experience with professional care would be desirable but not essential as you will receive full training around our clients care needs.

DBS Check and references will be required upon successful application.

Clean UK driving licence. (Essential)

A Non Smoker

Flexibility, when a need arises, to ensure 24/7 cover is maintained.
