- Full support to the PI team
- Communicate effectively with clients, offering empathetic support, especially in emotionally challenging situations.
- Draft routine correspondence, reports, and formal legal documents under the supervision of lawyers.
- Obtain and review medical records, evidence, and other necessary documentation.
- Attend client meetings with lawyers and assist with preparing materials for case meetings.
- Assist in managing personal injury and clinical negligence claims, ensuring proper case progression.
- Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the legal team.
- Organize and manage client files, keeping them updated and in compliance with legal and firm standards.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining the lawyer's calendar.
- Ensure that all client data and case files are handled with confidentiality and in line with data protection regulations.
- Previous experience working as a Legal Assistant in PI / Clinical Negligence of a minimum of 1 year
- Understanding of legal processes and compliance within the legal sector
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and to work under pressure
- Able to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility
- Able to produce accurate work with strong attention to detail
- Team player who is able to work as part of a team and use initiative but also able to work independently
