A reputable law firm in Macclesfield is seeking a dedicated and experienced RTA Paralegal to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of RTA claims, primarily focused on cases within the OIC portal.
  • Draft legal documents, correspondence, and settlement agreements in line with best practices and legal standards.
  • Maintain accurate case records using the firm’s case management system, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Provide excellent client care, keeping clients informed of progress and advising them on their legal options.
  • Assist in the preparation of cases for court, including compiling bundles and preparing briefs for counsel.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant legal developments and changes in the RTA claims process.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience handling RTA claims, with particular experience in the OIC portal.
  • Strong knowledge of RTA law and procedures, including pre-action protocols.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear advice to clients.
  • Proficiency in using case management systems and legal software.
