MedicsPro are seeking experienced Community Registered Nurses (RGN) - Band 5 with recent NHS experience, who are looking for flexible extra shifts or full-time agency work at Macclesfield District General Hospital.

We have opportunities for both long day and night shifts.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Current upto date references- covering the previous 3 years.
  • Car Driver- with a valid UK driving licence
  • BLS or ILS (Anyone band 6 & Above)

Preferable Experience:

*Minimum 1 year recent UK experience working within an NHS community based setting

Qualifications:

*Complete an adult nursing degree

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and dispense medication safely and accurately.
  • Provide clear guidance and support to patients and their families regarding care and treatment plans.
  • Manage patient documentation and compile accurate medical records.
  • Perform routine procedures, including taking samples, monitoring vital signs such as pulses, temperatures, and blood pressures.
  • Actively listen to patients to understand their needs and symptoms.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans, regularly evaluating their success.
