Role Overview

As a District/Community Nurse, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within the community. This flexible role offers the opportunity to manage your workload around your lifestyle while providing essential support to patients in their homes or community settings.

  • Shifts: 9:00-17:00 with weekend shifts available
  • Pay: From £26 ph ltd up to £38 ph ltd per hour (£23.45- £34.00 PAYE Inclusive Equivalent)
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients in their homes or community environments.
  • Manage and deliver care plans, including wound management, catheter care, medication administration, and chronic disease support.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards of practice.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse Qualification with valid NMC registration.
  • Previous experience as a District/Community Nurse or in a similar role is essential (minimum 12 months)
  • Excellent clinical skills, including wound care and chronic disease management.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle are required.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • Sponsorship is not available for this role
