Based in the Macclesfield, our client is engineering organisation who is seeking an individual to join their busy team as a Project Admin/Coordinator. This is a forward-thinking business with an innovative approach. You will be joining a down-to-earth company that operates in a relaxed environment. All the team enjoy going to work each day as they are a people-focused organisation, who go the extra mile for both their clients and employees.

You are a people-person looking after the business needs and helping support the company on its growth path. You will be overseeing project intake, client interaction, contract review and quotations, resource planning, reporting, compliance, and administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing compliance activities and managing projects
  • Account management and customer interaction
  • Managing work planning for the engineering team
  • Continuous improvement of back-office processes and the company quality system to increase efficiency and quality
  • Ensuring excellent administrative support across all areas of the business
  • Issuing of purchase orders and client invoices

Skills/experience:

  • Able to manage, develop and influence people and able to manage projects
  • Excellent communicator
  • Highly organised and able to effectively manage conflicting and competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Experience of working in a highly technical environment would be welcome
  • Professional approach
  • Flexible with the ability to work around changing business needs
  • Team player.
