We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Cheshire, who are recruiting for a Repairs Planning Team Leader on a temporary eight-week contract.

The position is due to start immediately, covering sick leave. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £26.00 via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have used the DRS/OpenHousing system previously, have a basic DBS certificate, and have experience overseeing a team of schedulers.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a team of Works Planners/Maintenance Coordinators
  • Ensuring the scheduling requirements for the maintenance/repairs teams are met to ensure all works are completed to tenant satisfaction
  • Managing daily processes such as raising repairs and servicing, diary planning, daily run sheets, task dispatch, appointments management, complaints handling and materials ordering and payments
  • Aiding in the management process of equipment/plant inventory and material orders
  • Leading on the process for raising and monitoring invoices
  • Aiding in the management of relationships with contractors and service providers
  • Developing solutions and recommendations to enable the overall performance improvement of the maintenance function across all operational business areas

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience working with customers within housing
