Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor required on either a permanent or contract basis for a Macclesfield based client.

This position will involve working on a diverse portfolio of construction projects, valued up to 20 million, delivered using the NEC form of contract.


The role is based in Macclesfield, requiring attendance four days a week until integration with the team is achieved. Flexible working hours can be accommodated.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full range of Quantity Surveying duties from project inception through to completion, working both as part of a team and individually
  • Prepare cost plans, estimates, bills of quantities, tender documents, and supply chain payment assessments
  • Provide construction phase contract Quantity Surveying services including change management, contractor payment applications, and final accounts
  • Prepare data and reports to timescales in a format required by line management and clients
  • Work collaboratively with other service teams to provide an integrated approach to client delivery
  • Develop client relationships and provide an outstanding level of service delivery on a project basis, in conjunction with senior management


Job Requirements:

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying
  • Conversant in pre and post contract quantity surveying duties
  • NEC contract experience
  • Understanding of applicable methods of measurement
  • Ability to work with the minimum of supervision and on own initiative
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
