Are you a dedicated individual with excellent behaviour management skills and a passion for supporting students in their educational journey at a secondary school level? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently working with a popular Secondary School who are recruiting for a full time Cover Supervisor to join their ranks into the new academic year starting in September 2024!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage secondary school students during teacher absences, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans and maintain classroom discipline at the secondary school level. Foster a safe and inclusive atmosphere where secondary school students can thrive academically.
  • Adapt to a variety of subjects and year groups within a secondary school setting as required.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of the secondary school day.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.

Requirements:

  • Availability from 8:30 to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.
  • Strong behaviour management skills are essential, particularly in a secondary school context.
  • Flexibility to cover a range of secondary school subjects and year groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact in a secondary school environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a secondary school, is a plus.
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position, or willingness to obtain one.
