Supply Teacher

The Role: As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons to students across different year groups and subjects, ensuring continuity in their learning while their regular teacher is absent. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who are looking for flexibility in their work schedule and the chance to work in a variety of schools within Macclesfield and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students are engaged and focused.

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive learning environment.

• Provide feedback on student progress and behaviour to the appropriate school staff.

• Follow the school's policies and procedures, ensuring a smooth transition for students in the absence of their regular teacher.

• Ensure that students' wellbeing and educational needs are supported.

• Adapt lessons and activities where necessary to meet the needs of students.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent, or an NQT looking to gain varied classroom experience.

• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching, with the ability to work across different subjects and age groups.

• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

• Previous experience in teaching or a willingness to learn and develop.

• A passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' learning experience.
