Job Description:

Trident Healthcare are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacy Manager to join our private hospital in Macclesfield on a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the hospital pharmacy.
  • Manage and lead the pharmacy team, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
  • Collaborate with consultants and attend multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Manage the procurement and supply of medications and pharmaceutical products.

Requirements:

  • Must have hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Proven leadership and management experience.
  • Experience in dealing with consultants and attending MDT meetings.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
