  • The role is initially for ad hoc shifts during the busy winter period, with potential for hours to increase based on continuity of care.

Our client is looking for experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioners to join their busy team in this NHS Trust

Service:Urgent Care
Location:Macclesfield
Rate:30 Days, 40 Nights and Saturdays, 50 Sundays and Bank Holidays (Ltd / Umbrella)

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of clinical decision-making in urgent care services
  • Conduct face-to-face consultations in clinics
  • Provide care during both in-hours and out-of-hours shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
  • Apply advanced clinical skills to assess and manage urgent medical cases.

Candidate Requirements (Medical and Nursing):

  • Fully Qualified AdvancedNursePractitioner (ANP) orEmergencyCare Practioner on NMC.
  • Masters Degree in Advanced Practice with formal recognition as an ANP
  • NMP (Non-Medical Prescibing) qualification, plus training in minor injuries and minor illnesses.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Up-to-date mandatory training, registrations, and immunizations.

The role is initially for ad hoc shifts to cover the busy winter period but the Trust likes to promote continuity of care and staff so there are opportunities for the hours to grow.
