Work Package Manager (Construction) / Contract / Pharmaceutical / Greater Manchester

I am working with a client that have cornered the market within Cleanroom Design and Build. They are seeking an Architectural Work Package Manager to assist with new and upcoming project works in the UK. The business is dynamic and prides itself on being a true champion of collaboration and innovation.
In the main, they are looking for someone that is comfortable with client facing responsibilities. All you need is (Minimum) HNC and 5 years+ experience within industry. Preference will be given to those with GMP / Pharma experience but those without will not be discounted. Although the Project in mind encompasses lifecycle work, the main responsibility will be within the Construction phase.

Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and reporting progress
- Liaise with relevant members of the project team to discuss and agree programme requirements
- Maintain strict cost control from procurement through to handover
- Agree working arrangements with all key service providers
- Produce procurement schedules.
- Organisation and management of sub contractors to meet project time scales
- Preparation of quality and safety plans
- Input into risk assessments, method statements and COSHH assessments
Requirements:
- Minimum HNC qualified in Building Services or Building Studies.
- Trained to a minimum standard of IoSH Managing Safely.
- Although you will be experienced in delivering projects in your core skill, experience in the delivery of turnkey projects is also required
- Able to understand design principals and carry out design associated with minor changes.
- Working knowledge of company safety and quality procedures.
- IT literate and conversant with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Project.
- Fully conversant with CDM regulations and able to operate at senior level in fulfilling the role of principal contractor.
