We have an excellent opportunity for a Lecturer to join us delivering high quality education in Electrical Installation. We are committed to delivering high-quality education to a diverse range of learners. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Electrical Lecturer who will contribute to the planning, delivery, assessment, and internal verification of Electrical programmes, including 18th Edition and 2365 qualifications.Duties include:

  • Deliver course programs at all levels, including preparing work and assessments for college and workplace settings.
  • Manage student responsibilities such as interviews, pre-course assessments, enrolment, induction, pastoral care, and progress reviews.
  • Participate in curriculum development, marketing, and the introduction of new courses.
  • Contribute to quality assurance requirements for course programs.
  • Liaise with external agencies such as validating bodies, employers, and placement providers.
  • Stay updated in the subject area for personal and professional development.
  • Identify and prioritise self-training needs in line with the strategic plan.

For this role we are looking for people who meet the following criteria:

  • Degree-level qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • Current teaching qualification meeting national standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences.
  • Awareness and application of health and safety practices.
  • Experience working in the Electrical industry.
