Head4Talent are currently working with a rapidly expanding manufacturing business based near Caerphilly to hire a commercially focused FP&A Manager.

Role Overview

As the Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) Manager you will spearhead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, analyse financial outcomes, and offer insights crucial for senior management to meet the company's financial goals.

Duties

  • Collaborate with department heads to develop comprehensive budgets and forecasts that align with strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with the business and finance team to produce top-notch analysis and reports, providing insightful information for decision makers.
  • Gain a profound understanding of the UK's performance drivers, analyzing costs, revenues, segment profitability, and customer profitability.
  • Partner with the commercial team on pricing strategies, supplier relationships, and margin enhancement.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to ensure the financial plans' resilience.
  • Provide regular financial reports to monitor performance, track key initiatives, and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Optimize FP&A processes, assess key performance indicators (KPIs), and enhance management information visualization.

  • Demonstrated ability in FP&A/Commercial roles with a focus on operational excellence and commercial acumen.
  • Proficient in analytical problem-solving and FP&A implementation.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and Anaplan.
