This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced health and safety professional to join an expanding business. Working as part of a larger group, this role will provide you an opportunity to develop health, safety, environmental and quality processes and policy within a busy manufacturing environment. This role would be well suited to an experience SHEQ manager with experience working in the manufacturing industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Raising and following up on non-conformance reports, to ensure that any actions identified, pursued, and resolved.
  • Work as part of a larger team to develop working practices and procedures.
  • Support the business operational leaders to make compliant SHEQ decisions that meet customers' needs.
  • Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being implemented.
  • Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive .
  • Maintain existing documentation and write new SHEQ Documents as required.
  • Keep records of inspection findings and produce reports that suggest improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working Knowledge of ISO 9001/14001/45001 management systems.
  • Passionate about Health, Safety, Environment & Quality
  • Working Knowledge or experience as an ISO 9001/14001/45001 auditor.
  • Experience of identifying, conducting, communicating, and reviewing various risk assessment types (General, COSHH, Fire , DSE, PUWER, Manual Handling, quality and environmental etc.)
  • Experience in a managerial role.
