Quick Staff UK is pleased to seek a reliable and hard-working Production operative to join its client based in the Ystrad Mynach area. This hands-on role involves various tasks within our client's chemical production area, requiring attention to detail, physical dexterity, and a willingness to adapt to different responsibilities throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving Deliveries:Accepting and inspecting incoming materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Manual Production Tasks:Engaging in hands-on production activities, including:
  • Stirring and mixing media in buckets
  • Sieving and washing media
  • Labelling containers of finished products accurately
  • Maintaining Cleanliness:Ensuring workspaces are clean and organised, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Physical Fitness:Comfortable with manual handling tasks (including lifting, stirring, and sieving).
  • Attention to Detail:Ability to perform tasks precisely and ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Flexibility:Willingness to adapt to various roles within the production process. Switching efficiently between tasks based on daily production requirements.
  • Team Player:Collaborates effectively with colleagues to maintain smooth operations.
  • Health & Safety Awareness:Understanding and adhering to safety protocols in a chemical production environment.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role.
  • Familiarity with chemical handling (training will be provided if necessary).
  • Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
