Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician

Location: Southeast Wales

Salary: Up to £40,000 per year (DOE)

Shifts: Rotating three-shift pattern:

 

  • Days (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)
  • Afternoons (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
  • Nights (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

 

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

 

 

About the Role:

 

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role ensures the efficient operation of factory equipment and assembly processes while maintaining high safety, quality, and efficiency standards. As part of a dynamic team, you'll troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure seamless operations.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain and optimize machinery to ensure efficient production.
  • Perform equipment setup, operation, and minor preventative maintenance.
  • Monitor and test product quality, troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Document production processes to meet internal and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
  • Identify and address deviations in processes or product quality.
  • Maintain maintenance logs and provide productivity and incident reports.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste in production.
  • Ensure the work area is safe, clean, and well-maintained.

 

 

Skills and Attributes:

 

  • Time-served engineer with a minimum HNC/HND qualification in an Engineering discipline.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident decision-maker with a focus on cost-effective solutions.
