Vehicle Repair Technician required in Ystrad Mynach.

Basic salary up to £35-50,000 per annum depending on experience and current earnings.
Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm with a paid 30-minute lunch break.

Our client, a well-regarded premium independent garage, is currently looking to hire an experienced and professional Vehicle Repair Technician for their busy workshop in Ystrad Mynach.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, as a Vehicle Technician your main duties will include carrying out vehicle servicing, routine repairs as instructed to the standards laid down by our client and any other basic maintenance repair tasks. You need to ensure faults are accurately outlined and reported to the Workshop Manager as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance. You will also need to ensure that quality procedures relating to the function laid down by our client are always adhered to.

You will ideally live in the Ystrad Mynach region or be within a reasonable commuting distance of Ystrad Mynach. You will need to be a qualified Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum and ideally have at least 3 years practical experience post qualification. You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, be a committed individual and be a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy franchise-approved dealership environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.
