Position: Production Operative
Location: Lisburn
Hours: 37 hours a week, contract role until the end of 2024 with potential extension
Pay: 13.41 an hour

Overview:
NRL are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join the team of one of our leading clients in the Power Generation sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manufacturing, assembly, basic testing, packaging, and shipping of products. This role requires a high level of precision and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform manufacturing and assembly operations following work procedures, schematics, and verbal instructions.
  • Execute various tasks using bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets.
  • Maintain daily production output and ensure compliance with EHS and Quality policies.
  • Participate in quality control inspections and collaborate with team leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers to enhance quality and process efficiency.
  • Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations, test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
  • Identify and repair units that fail tests or tolerance levels.

Expreience/desirables:
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and understand instructions regarding duties to be performed.
